Grilled Oysters with Parmesan-Bacon Butter

If you've never tried hot oysters straight off the grill, you're missing out. Oysters topped with cheesy bacon butter — smoky, salty, and rich enough to impress any guest.
Grilled oysters are one of the quickest and most impressive things you can make. The seasoned butter melts inside the shell, creating a deeply flavored sauce.
Ingredients
- 12 fresh oysters
- 100 g softened butter
- 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 slices crispy bacon, crumbled
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Making the Compound Butter
Mix the butter, Parmesan, bacon, garlic, and parsley until well combined.
Grilling
Place the shucked oysters on a hot grill. Add a teaspoon of the cheese butter to each oyster. Grill for 5-6 minutes until the butter is bubbling. Serve immediately.
