Cajun Surf and Turf — Steak & Shrimp

An irresistible pairing of steak and shrimp on the grill with a rich, spicy Cajun butter sauce. A showstopper for any special occasion.

Surf and Turf is the most impressive dish you can serve your guests. A charcoal grill gives both the steak and shrimp a smoky depth you simply can't replicate in an oven.

Ingredients

  • 2 thick-cut ribeye steaks (3 cm)
  • 500 g large shrimp
  • 100 g butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Lemon juice

Cooking the Steak

Season the steaks 30 minutes before grilling. Grill over direct high heat for 3-4 minutes per side for medium doneness. Rest for 5 minutes.

The Shrimp

Melt butter in a small saucepan with garlic and Cajun seasoning. Toss the shrimp in the butter, then grill for 2-3 minutes per side. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice.
